Mr Alastair Goolden (Male)

Sound designer. Goolden's stage work includes Prospect Theatre Company, Bristol Old Vic, Royal Shakespeare Company, Hampstead Theatre Company, Royal Exchange Theatre, Almeida Theatre, Cambridge Theatre Company and the Young Vic. He has created and installed soundscape designs with artists and composers on a number of platforms, including for a touring show of work by painter Kate Lynch in 2010. In 2012, he participated in the installation of Peace Camp, a site-specific work shown nationally as part of the Cultural Olympiad. For Bath Film Festival, he has developed a series of commissioned scores for silent films from several composers and instrumentalists, including Helen Ottaway. As writer and associate artist for Natural Theatre Company, he has also developed and scripted performance-based works and has lectured in sound design at institutions in Hong Kong and Glasgow.
