Director, writer and producer. Goold has worked extensively in theatre and in opera and television. He was an associate at the Salisbury Playhouse from 1996 to 1997, Artistic Director of the Royal and Derngate Theatres in Northampton from 2000 to 2005 and Artistic Director at Headlong Theatre Company from 2005 to 2013. Since 2010 he has been an associate director at the Royal Shakespeare Company and has been Artistic Director at the Almeida Theatre since 2013 (Wikipedia).
