Actor and playwright. Beginning her career as an actor, Jacob has appeared regularly in productions at the National Theatre including Her Naked Skin (2008), Major Barbara (2008), Burnt by the Sun (2009), Saint George and the Dragon (2017) and Absolute Hell (2018). She has also appeared in a number of regional theatre productions and with the Royal Shakespeare Company between 1992-1997. Her second play, The Quick (2011) was produced at the Tristan Bates Theatre and her radio play, The Night Visitor, won the Writers' Guild Award for Best Radio Drama in 2015. Jacob's has two plays premiering in 2018: Again at the Trafalgar Studios and The Strongbox as part of VAULT Festival. Both plays are published by Nick Hern Books.
