Mr Jonathan Slinger (Male)

Born: 15 August 1972

Actor. After making his theatrical debut at Yepikhodov in The Cherry Orchard at the Leicester Haymarket Theatre (1994), Slinger has gone on to appear in numerous productions on stage and screen. He is perhaps best know for his work with the Royal Shakespeare Company where he has appeared in the titles roles of Macbeth (2011), Hamlet (2013) and Richard in both Richard II and Richard III (2007) as well as Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream (2005), Lenny in the The Homecoming (2011), Malvolio in Twelfth Night (2011) and Prospero in The Tempest (2012). Outside the RSC, he has appeared in multiples shows at the National Theatre as well as leading roles in West End musicals such as Urinetown (2014) and as Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2015).
