Choreographer and director. 'Lefton is known as one of the foremost Movement Directors in Britain. She was Head of movement at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama where she and her team trained the acting and opera students. Her extensive career spanning [30] years has been mainly in live theatre although she has worked widely in film [...] Lefton has collaborated with Adrian Noble over the last twenty years. She worked closely as his movement director and choreographer during his time as Artisic Director of The Royal Shakespeare company and has worked with him regularly in Opera most recently at The MET in New York on his critically acclaimed production of Verdi’s Macbeth.'
