Writer and director. Wooley has worked in radio, television, film and theatre. With Alain Airth, she formed the theatre company Big Like Texas. 'After directing several of her own productions for the company, she began a career as an assistant director, working with Trevor Nunn, Stephen Daldry, Peter Gill, Di Trevis and Harold Pinter.' After working as a staff director at the National Theatre, London, in 2001, Wooley became a writer and has since 'written several plays for radio and stage' (Sarah Wooley personal website).
