Television producer and screenplay writer. Granger's career began with work on Granada Television's Coronation Street (as the show's second producer) and extended through to 1991. His notable contributions included to the television series Brideshead Revisited (1981) and Country Matters (1972-3). He acted as Literary Consultant to Laurence Olivier in the early days of the National Theatre.
