Comedian and actor. Wall's career began in music hall routines. He was a [popular comedy entertainer in the 1950s and 1960s and named by Billy Connelly as 'the funniest comedian Britain has ever produced'. He is remembered for his comedy character Professor Wallofski, with dinner jacket, tight leggings and boots and long hair framing a receded hairline, and a strange silly walk. In the 1970s, Wall became involved acting in theatre, following the success of his performance of Ubu in Ubu Rex at the Royal Court in 1966.
