Actor. Pennell began his career in the West End in the early 1960s. He built up a portfolio of work on televisions and was known to British audiences as Michael Mont in the Forsyte Saga series (BBC2, 1967). He moved to Canada in 1972 to take up work in Stratford as a classical stage actor.
