Description | The BBC Third Programme's 1964 series of three programmes titled Harold Pinter: Sketches offered nine Pinter sketches in total. Programme 1 (28 April, 10.40-11.00pm): Last to Go, The Black and White and That's Your Trouble. Programme 2 (7 May, 10.20-10.35pm): Request Stop, That's All and Applicant. Programme 3 (26 May, 10.30-10.45pm): Interview, Trouble in the Works and Dialogue for Three. This production of Applicant appears to be the one repeated on 7 October 1990, as part of Radio 3's 'Harold Pinter at 60 - A Birthday Party' series of programmes. A note on the script: the work here is a dramatic stage sketch that is being relayed on radio. We are unaware of any differences in dialogue between the broadcast text and the published text of the sketch. |
