Description A note on the script: the work here is a dramatic play that is being relayed on radio. 'Pinter collaborated with the producer Charles Lefeaux, adapting to radio the visual elements of the play, achieved in part by the creation of a narrator for the radio version.' (Bignell and Davies) This production was repeated on BBC Radio 4 on several occasions, including on 9 January 1978 as The Monday Play; and in the afternoon Theatre slot on 15 January 1978 and 23 May 1982; and on 2 November 2002 as part of the Harold Pinter Season. A recording of this broadcast is available on the UbuWeb website. It is unclear if this is a licensed release.
