1960 The play was mounted (a college performance) in the summer of 1960 as a means of promoting the publication of Volume 4 of the periodical Tomorrow (1960), in which the play's first published after having been offered by Pinter to the editor Ian Hamitlon. This was the first performance of the play on stage. Pinter travelled to Oxford to see the performance. |
