Photographer. Kyncl worked extensively in theatre and in film. After being arrested and expelled from the former Czechoslovakia, he was given asylum in the UK in 1980 (Guardian website). He began his career as the RSC’s in-house photographer and went on to work with the Almedia, Royal Court and National Theatre (The Stage).
