Actor. During her career, Cuka worked in television, film and theatre. Following her training at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Cuka joined Joan Littlewood's Theatre Workshop where she originated the role of Jo in Shelagh Delaney's A Taste of Honey in 1958, continuing in the role when the play moved to the West End and Broadway. Between runs of A Taste of Honey she appeared in several plays at the Royal Court Theatre, including Endgame and Live Like Pigs. Cuka appeared in several films, most notably as Catherine of Aragon in Henry VIII had Six Wives (1972), and multiple television shows including a recurring role of the popular hospital drama, Casualty, between 2006-2009. She was an occasional returning character in Channel 4’s comedy series Friday Night Dinner (2011 - )
