Description | Adaptation of Jean-Paul Sartre's play No Exit/Hois Clos. Pinter played Joseph. Three people, a man convicted of cowardice, a lesbian and a self-obsessed blonde are put in a small, stark room with a few garish modern artworks and three benches. All have died and are in Hell, but instead of devils, fire, brimstone and physical torture, they spend eternity there with each other's loathsome company. |
