Description | Harold Pinter speaks about Samuel Beckett following his death, recollecting their first meeting. The opening section, in which he recollects his first meeting with Beckett, was later published as 'A Wake for Sam'. He also reads from a letter that he wrote to a friend in 1954, explaining his passion for Beckett (see 'Resources'), and concludes by reading the final pages of Beckett's novel The Unnamable. |
