Description | The story so far: Through the foolhardiness of Sauvignac Will is horrified to learn of Friend's treachery and vows to denounce him. They fight and Friend has Will at his mercy but realises he cannot kill him. Later, fleeing from the soldiers, Friend sacrifices a chance of escape by giving Sauvignac the only available berth on a ship bound for France. |
