Paul Groothuis

Mr Paul Groothuis (Male)

Sound designer. Groothuis is an award-winning sound designer who has had a long and prolific career working on the London stage. He moved to the UK in 1979, and from 1981 to 1984 he worked in a recording studio in Central London, starting as a tape operator and eventually becoming the studio’s resident engineer. He joined the National Theatre in 1984 and has designed sound for more than 120 NT productions.
