Director, actor and writer. Almaz translated and produced Waiting for Godot in Hebrew, performed in a Kibbutz in Tel Aviv in 1955. He moved to London in 1958 and worked for the BBC World Service. Almaz founded the Artaud Company in 1974. He set up the London Cafe Theatre in Leicester Square in the same year.
