Actor, comedian and playwright. Cotton played significant roles during his tenure at the National Theatre in the mid to late 1960s. He was a founder member of Joint Stock in 1974. He has appeared in lead roles at the Royal Court, the Old Vic and for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
