Director. Rickson has worked extensively in theatre and in television and film. His professional career began in 1990, with an appointment at the Royal Court Young People's Theatre. Following that he served three years as Associate Artistic Director and then in 1998 took over from Stephen Daldry as Artistic Director, staying on in that role until 2006 (Wikipedia). Having worked a great deal with Harold Pinter and on many of his plays, Rickson has come to be regarded as one of the most significant contemporary directors of Pinter's work in Britain.
