Episode
Description Broadcast as part of the celebrations for Pinter's 70th birthday. It was followed by a repeat of the 1964 radio production of Pinter's revue sketch Last to Go. A recording of this broadcast is available on the Ubuweb website. It is unclear if this is a licensed release. A note on the script: A Slight Ache was written in 1958 for the radio. It is unlikely that this production would have used that original script, which remains unpublished, but a treatment of the published text, which we use as the connected Work for this entry. The published text is one that was subsequently prepared for stage production. We are unaware of any differences in dialogue between the broadcast text and the published text of the play.
