It has long been a receiving house; however, since 2017 it has been one of the theatres used by the national theatre company, Het Nationale Theater. With a seating capacity of 680, the main house 'is relatively small by current standards. The stage has a 1929 antique revolving stage that is still functional but no longer in use.' (Wikipedia)
