Located in Port-na-Craig, Pitlochry, the Festival Theatre attracts thousands of tourists with a famous summer season which 'offers six plays in daily repertory' and enables 'visitors to see six plays in six nights'. The theatre and summer season '[showcase] a large amount of the country's talent in dramatic arts, comedy and writing.' The venue was originally a tent theatre but then opened in its current form, as a building which seats 544, in 1981 (Wikipedia).
