Actor. Perhaps best known for his work on popular television shows such as a six-part mini-series for the BBC, Diary of a Young Man, directed by Ken Loach in 1964, Band of Gold (1995-1997), McCallum (1995-1998), or Emmerdale between 2002-2005, Moore's career also spans radio, theatre, and films. Moore joined the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) in 1965 where he gained critical acclaim for his roles in Shakespeare's comedies. Moore has gone on to appear with the company periodically between the 1970 and 1990s, most recently appearing in the 2006 productions of Pericles and The Winter's Tale.
